The Novices’ Community Apostolic Experience

The Novices’ Community Apostolic Experience

Last April, the five Novices entered the third stage of their Noviceship formation, the Communitarian-Apostolic Experience which aims at fostering the following of Jesus in Nazareth by experiencing the dynamics of an inserted Community-Taller, participating in the living of harmonized Prayer-Work and growing in greater knowledge and identification with the Congregational mission
As an immediate preparation for their Community-Apostolic Experience, the Novices Rochelle, Bich Huyen, Vy, Thien and Kim Thi had a whole day recollection on May 12 with the theme “I Am the Beloved of God Called for a Mission”. It was culminated with the sending-off liturgy where each one offered a symbol which best captured her experiences of God’s love.  The event was highlighted with a joyful feast during dinner where the sisters exchanged pleasant stories and experiences with words of encouragement given to the Novices by the professed sisters. The Novices were very grateful for the heart-felt support from the community.

On May 15, 2013, the Novices went to their respective Community-Taller: Rochelle & Bich Huyen in C-T Cebu, Kim Thi & Thien in C-T Silay and Vy in C-T Iloilo where they were welcomed with open arms by the sisters with a welcome liturgy where the Novices each presented her symbol and her Personal Plan of Growth as the point of departure upon joining the Community-Taller. In a separate gathering, the members of the Community-Taller presented to the Novice/s their Communitarian Apostolic Plan to facilitate their integration with the community. The Novice/s in turn presented the Personal Plan of Growth to the Community-Taller which situated the members to the context of the Novice.
The Community Apostolic Experience will end in July 31 with an evaluation which will gather in common the READING IN FAITH OF THE EXPERIENCE of the Novice and the evaluation of the Community-Taller that accompanies her.
