With the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit in every activity, 26 sisters from 5 different Communities-Taller in Luzon participated on-site together with the Provincial Team members Aurora Yolanda Pugal and Victoria Terrenate attending virtually.
The assembly was opened by Jennifer presenting the objectives of the gathering. The 30-minute video presentation of Fr. Ramon Bautista, SJ prepared us for the task ahead of us. Sharing of the different works on apostolic presences and projects of the Communities-Taller and the summary of the demography and the characteristics of the cluster prepared by the Coordinating Group gave a clearer view of the cluster reality. This was further enriched through the open forum which brought us to a greater sense of belonging and gratitude for the collaboration of each one. God’s presence seemed to be so alive that in our silence during adoration we couldn’t help but marvel in the goodness and fidelity of God in our journey.
Situating us in the present reality of the Cluster, the task of re-imagining it for the next 5 and 10 year period with the steps to be taken and points to be safeguarded motivated us to express our desire for the cluster in a more realistic way. Sharing in groups by the formation stages was exciting. The task of reaching for a consensual visualization of our cluster in the short and mid-term period inflamed the fire within each one evident in the exchanges of views and ideas. It was a full day and it was concluded by the adoration to the Blessed Sacrament which helped us in relishing the gift received.
As we embarked on the last phase of our task for the assembly, the high level of energy of the participants was very palpable after going through the process of identifying the 5 Criteria of Discernment for future presences and projects as well as for the proposals for the cluster and the Province.
The commitment of each sister regarding the proposals was given emphasis . . . a symbol of this commitment in relation to the plans, proposals and choices which as a cluster we opted for is what each formation stage offered in the closing liturgy.
After acknowledging the contributions of all who offered particular tasks in the assembly and the active participation of each one, Jennifer acknowledged how God truly journeyed with us during the past 3 days. Confident of God’s continuing accompaniment with all of us and of our foundress St. Bonifacia, Jennifer officially ended the assembly with the common singing of the song: Bonifacia’s Gift.
All honor and glory to our God who has bestowed on us His countless graces and immesurable love and goodness during our 13th Luzon Cluster Assembly.
